I've been thinking I should really explain what Slimming World is, and how it works, especially as this is a blog about my weight loss journey on Slimming World. To be honest Katyboo1 has explained it so well here on her blog, I don't need to. I've been following Slimming World for 8 weeks now and she has explained it in the most comprehensive and simple way I've seen.

I´d like to show a common mistake in the slimming world.
I think that a vegetarian diet is a myth. If you use a lot of oil or add ingredients with a hight content in calories, you are not doing anything to lose weight.
Try to avoid fried food, pasta, sugar and use the oven more frecuently.
It all depends on what type of oil you use , as some are very beneficial to us and are actually very good for our bones Virgin extra is good as well as some of the nut oils , try not to use vegetable oil
Stay away from ones that will turn into hydrogenated fats when used at a high heat
The myth about vegetarians is the proteins which you can get from a lot of pulses like beans and even nuts , you can eat a healthy well balanced vegetarian diet
and use brown pasta rather than white,better for us in fact brown is better in every thing , and yes use the oven more
